Mandy Connell heads to Castlemaine's 'The Taproom'- a venue situated in the refurbished spinning room of the old Castlemaine mill. The venue is home to Shedshaker Brewery, and is passionate about their beer (brewd on site), local wines, and cider. 

Music is from 5pm - 7pm, and features the Double Bass and Electric Guitar on the day.

The Taproom features ten locally brewed beers and ciders, and a range of local wines and ginger beers (as well as soft drinks, of course).

Pizza (GF & VEGAN, incl) is available all day- and the town features other options for dinner if you would like to start at the Taproom and amble over the way to a restaraunt.

Connell is a celebrated singer songwriter, known in the region for appearances in Daylesford and at the Maldon and Newstead festivals. Accompanied on bass and electric guitar, Connell's songs take on a spine tingling magic that will have you walking their stories with her. She is as modern-Australian as she is inspired by anglo-celtic tradition, and her sound is a mix of urban-inner-north of Melbourne and regional victoria. 

Having spent 2016-2018 in Wangaratta, the singer songwriter and web-series presenter is playing shows across Victoria, NSW and SA this summer- and we are glad to have her on our calendar, as will you be this year.
