Ararat Live is a not-for-profit group that hosts original live music in venues around Ararat in Western Victoria. It has hosted Scott Cook, Liz Stringer, Steve Poltz and other glitterati of the musical world.

Winner of the Maldon Minstrel Award 2006, the Declan Affley Award 2005, nominee at Port Fairy Songs of Peace and Tolerance in 2006. Mandy is the Creator and Host of web series An Otherwise Quiet Room, and has released 2 of her own albums - Tall Tales and Northcote Sessions: and two with Folk Revival group Stray Hens. With another album on the way and a handful of new songs from her home in Central Victoria, Connell is accomplished and stunning in her live show.
