Songs in the South is a songwriters in the round, featuring solo artists singing originals and discussing their lyrics.

It's at Freddy Wimpoles in St Kilda, an adventure for Connell who rarely ventures south of the Yarra.

Songs in the South features exceptionally talented artists who not only perform their original tunes, but also chat about how their songs came to be. A rare insight into the music world and a lovely way to get up close and personal with the artists. 

We have a great selection of musicians lined up for you on the 5th of November. For round 1 we have Clint Wilson, Mandy Connell and Jethro Pickett and round 2 the lovely Hannah Cameron, Joyce Prescher and Jason Lowe. And better yet, the day after is a holiday!
